Tieleman Transport was founded in 1922.

The Tieleman family business was established by A.J. Tieleman, grandfather of the current owners of the company.

In the beginning transport was carried out by horse and carriage.

The action radius was about 10 miles, from Walsoorden (a small port near the Westerschelde)
to the city Hulst and vice versa.

Early on a lorry was bought, so transport could be carried out throughout the area of Oost Zeeuws Vlaanderen.
For many years a transport service was maintaned between Terneuzen and Rotterdam.

In the seventies we started transport services to the rest of europe.
